Welcome to our Year 2 class webpage.  We will use this page to showcase the children's learning throughout the year. 

We have also included a link to our powerpoint which we used on our parent information meetings in September. 

Other links include key skills and resources that you may find useful to support your child's progress this year.

Children are expected to read 5 times a week and bring their reading record to school each day. Every time your child reads, please record this in their reading record as we check these daily. 

Numbots     Children should be using Numbots daily to improve number bond recall. 

Spelling Shed  Every week the children are given a spelling assignment to consolidate class learning.

Collins Ebooks  Every week, a book your child has read with the teacher in reading lessons will be assigned for you to read together.

Please inform Year 2 staff if there are any difficulties with logins or accessing a resource and we can sort the problem.

PE Days: Monday and Thursday;

               Children wear their school PE uniform to school on those days.
