Governors
Committee Membership
The school governors are responsible for the vision and strategic direction of St Benedict’s Primary School. They hold the Headteacher to account for how well pupils achieve and progress educationally, for the quality of teaching and ensuring clarity of the Catholic vision. They also oversee how the school spends its money, making sure the school stays in budget and receives value for money.
The Full Governing Body meets once per half- term.
In addition, governors also have special responsibilities as link governors. Below are the names and responsibilities of the school’s Governing Body.
If you have questions or would like to get in touch with the Governors, please contact Kirsty Guite (Chair of Governors) in writing via the school office in the first instance.
