Dia de los Muertos
?Dia de los Muertos is a traditional day of celebration in Mexico to honour those who have passed away.
During the week beginning 5th November (the first week after half term), we are asking children to bring in flowers to decorate the altar – the more colourful the better!
?In addition, should they wish to, children can bring in photographs of departed loved ones. All photos will be displayed on the altar in the hall to honour them.
We hope that this will raise awareness of different cultures as well as giving families the opportunity to remember and honour their loved ones.

Children brought pictures and flowers in and placed them on the 'ofrenda' to mark Day of the Dead. A beautiful altar was created in memory of our loved ones.
