York Day 3

And we're done! Day 3 of York complete. The sun was shining and we started at the Railway Museum. A highlight for all of us was the model railway - we watched the trains go round for ages. Then we did our final walk through the city (and the Shambles) to get to York's Chocolate Story. Did you know that 4 million Kit Kats are made A DAY in York?! We sampled lots of different chocolates, watched them being made and then made our own lollies. We were even given goodie bags each. The day ended with an impromptu activity  - watching a street performer's show! The class were very involved, cheering and clapping and even getting up to help. Then we ate our lunch and now we're on the bus home. Everyone is very happy - and very tired! 40,000 steps walked over 3 days - and that was the adults! Far more for little legs.
