PTA Painting Party
St Benedict's families are always great at community events and today was no exception. Parents and staff turned out in force to help us paint the school. We got every classroom, the Orchard, the KS1 cloakrooms, part of the serving area in the hall and the area outside the hall painted. A team of dads cleaned every chair and replaced the stoppers on the chair legs and the Reception playground and toys were jet washed.
What an incredible achievement ? The atmosphere was fantastic.
The PTA also raised money to cover the cost of the materials.
We are so very grateful to all who helped today. It means we can spend the money on things which will directly benefit the children.
St Benedict is the patron saint of students and his philosophy was to work hard for others. With only a few days until St Benedict's day, this was a very fitting way to celebrate his feast day!
