Castle art

We've been looking at castles over the last two weeks. After reading about them, we chose our favourite castles and had a go at drawing them. Then we looked at how walls are constructed and we used sponges to make our own stone wall patterns, trying to use different colours for each stone and making sure we built our walls so that they wouldn't fall down. Today we started decorating a large castle so that we can add our painted turrets to it.
